Sundown In The Woods
Back in Owlbeech Wood on the way home from work. There was just enough light to take a view along a path behind the car park. The large serrated leaves of the Sweet Chestnut can be seen carpeting the ground as Autumn gives way to Winter. At any time of year these woods are very popular with the locals and are a valuable wildlife habitat. There is an extensive network of marked paths and these in turn link up to the main local public footpath network.
