Last Post Of The Day

Among the many items in the countryside I photograph are Postboxes. Red Postboxes are a familiar sight the length and breadth of the country. This is a modern box designed for light use and placed on a metal pole. A great many boxes were made in Scottish foundries as with this one which was made by a company based in Denny, Stirlingshire. This particular box was photographed at Bashurst Hill, Itchingfield on my way home from work.
