The Wishing Tree

The Wishing Tree is in Chapelfield Gardens in the centre of Norwich - scene of many public gatherings: celebrations and demonstrations.

People have hung labels or ribbons with their wishes onto the branches. It's a lovely idea and I don't know who started it off. Long may it continue.

Had a lovely morning 'faffing': taking photos of two of the cats on the shed roof, of trees in the city centre, of some heartwarming grafitti, and got some new library books. Nothing too clever - I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw that the library was all out of Doris Lessing.

Going to crack on now as I have found four - yes four - jobs to apply for.

I love my current job, and the two projects that I'm engaged to do alongside it, but I really can't cope with the financial uncertainty. So - as the saying goes: if you don't like something, change it. Or at least try to. Wish me luck.
