Amazingly my time 'off' during flu and stuff, didn't affect my fitness. I realized that today when I started my walk after work. I soon started jogging and jogged, jogged and jogged. Then I walked for a while because one of my knees was hurting, but when that passed I jogged, turned at 'my' point jogged a bit more, walked for a few minutes and then jogged all the way home. No problems with my hip either! Really happy for this.
