Christmas is a'comin!

Busy, busy day in school....but put it all behind me when I arrived home for a short break before leaving for a tutoring session on the other side of the creek!

Walked in and found GK, still less than 100% fit, working gallantly from home, preparing for a forthcoming office event. I suggested she get some fresh air and chauffer me to my destination! She could then feel human again by having a quiet potter round IKEA and collecting a few things for a friend who is coming down from Oman on a flying visit...(not a carpet).

When she eventually returned to pick me up she'd discovered IKEA were doing a Christmas meal complete with stuffing, cranberry sauce and mince pie....starting today!

Needless to say, all plans for the evening took a u-turn and we just had to 'check it out!'
Yum! I'll cook tomorrow!

One day left for Inspection fever....then a Thursday of National Day celebrations before we break for the weekend....an extra long one with Sunday and Monday well deservedly off!

Another tense but exciting day tomorrow as we await the outcome of the Expo 2020 vote! .......and holding my breath as Albert takes to the recorder in his music lesson!!
