wild camping

Well, it wasn't that wild, seeing as it was very close to a small B road, but it wasn't a campsite and therefore, there were no facilities - so it's good enough. Arlo was totally amazed at the loch.

There was plenty for him to look at - the first night loads of children canoed over to our shore and ran around shouting and having fun and waving at Arlo and then hopped in their canoes and went away again.

The ground was very marshy so we put down a huge blue (and ugly) tarpaulin for Arlo to roll around on and he loved every minute of it. I think probably because we were so chilled out by this stage.
