Finally Friday

After a very long week that seemed to go on and on, while waiting for Marley to finish school I caught this blackbird fishing food scraps from the container that one of the kids must have forgotten to empty into the compost. Was such a sweet moment, it was quiet and innocent, time seemed to stand still, the bird found food and I watched him. Was calming and just the kind of moment I needed.
