Tossa de Mar

Today was the start of the second stage of our holiday. Mum, Dad and I are travelling north to Tamariu on the Costa Brava. We picked up our hire car at Barcelona Sants station. The nice taxi driver took us to the pick-up bit. Luckily we were given keys to the car and Mum and I were able to sit in it waiting for Dad. He had to go to the office to sort out the paperwork. It took an hour and a half! Once we were on the road it was quite easy. We stopped for lunch at a services near Blanes and then again in Tossa de Mar. Mum and Dad have been here a few times before. It is very pretty, with its hilltop fortification. There were shops open here so we were able to buy some more supplies. The next part of our journey between Tossa and Sant Feliu was along a very windy road. I didn't realise how twisty it was though because I was asleep. We reached the villa about 7pm. Mum says its even better in real life than in the photos. We're all excited about tomorrow when we can try out the pool.
