Portillo was here

Took ourselves for a day out today by train and our journey ended at this rather picturesque olde original train station. Beautiful ironwork on the platform. Beautiful Priory about half a mile away up in the town - emphasis on the "up" Great views of the hills ahead, but a very quiet little place all in all. Anybody know where it is?

I suppose I'd better tell you it was Great Malvern = hoped to do a bit of Christmas Shopping but was very disappointed in the range of shops, but the Priory and the Station made up for it.

Super Handyman Husband and I had a "Brief Encounter" moment in the beautifully traditional tea room on the platform at the station too.
