"In The Shade Of The Old Pepper Tree" ...
...Further to my yesterday's blip...This is for Pepper..I promised him I would take a capture of the Pepper Tree..yes, the tree most of us in Australia have heard of and remember...they're actually a South American tree according to "Our Book"..it's Schinus Molle - a wide spreading tree with feathery leaves, and enjoy a dry climate, and that, it is, and does..
...We don't see them often now..that is, grown from young plants, they're easy to grow, and not much maintenance with them and ofcourse the little birds love them, for shelter and the pretty red berries..shady and delicate leaves, yes, most of us have seen them somewhere...around shearing sheds, old schools, in the back yard of some old ruins..or, just in the back yard, yes, you'll see them somewhere, they're strong and lovely, and provide wonderful shelter..
...In this capture, if you put it on LARGE - you may also capture a glimse of the old P.S. Melbourne going past on the river..
...Timing was imperative right there..
