"WAAAAH"...

...Yes, I know it's hot my little love but you just have to put up with it!..

...And that it is, today - supposed to be 39deg.C -a good start to Summer and these little Galahs are really noticing the heat with wings out and running for shade, down near the old Pepper tree this morning..

...The one on the left kept chasing the one on the right as if to say yes, it is hot, and where's Mum? ..

...Lots of birdlife there, all seeking the shelter of the shadiest trees around, (and ofcourse we know which tree that is) - and naturally the beautiful gum trees as well, but then occasionally flying down to the lawns below for some fine feed there..Even the magpies were there, babies and all trying to choof off any other bird from their pad..

...The ducks were there too in all their glory, they didn't mind us at all, they're rather like chickens feeding and getting down to business on the lawns there as well and occasionally moving toward the shade of the old Pepper Tree..

...Yes, it's been a hot day, and I hope you like this shot of the little galahs who are so sweet, that is, in small numbers as they can make short work of a pine tree - I've seen that alright, eating the cones and generally making themselves unpopular..
