Norrdans dancing in their window
First Sunday in Advent - the shops put up their Christmas windows and show off a bit. Lots of them stay open on Sunday also, so it's a big Xmas shopping day.
Even our region's dance company, Norrdans, put on a display in their window. We the public (seen in reflection top left) stand outside in the dark and freeze, in order to see this free display of dancing in a small space. It's a slightly surreal event with cars driving by the windows, music from loudspeakers, and the sounds of hundreds of gloved and mittened hands clapping!
But it's a fun end to the day out and when it's over we head home for the warm kitchen, the first advent candle, and the home-made mulled wine.
This composite photo beat two others to the blip post. The other two can also be seen on my Flickr, here and here.
