Musical Day

I had not given much thought to the fact that today the music at church would usher in the Christmas Advent season. It was delightful. The church was still decorated for the harvest Thanksgiving season, so immediately after church the associate pastor was leading the group of volunteers who were changing the decorations to Christmas. What a transformation.

Our daughter and son-in-law came to church this morning and then a few hours later sent us a text inviting us to have a late lunch with them. We have had several tremendous days in a row with them now and enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving with them. I've written a little about this on the previous pages.
