To give or not to give

This is the board we have been using to try to encourage the congregation to give a little more to the work of the church- with mixed results - an indication perhaps of the difficult times being experienced by many. Brings me back to core business and what the priorities of a Parish church and its diocese should be . I have no answers, just a general feeling of a big gap in understanding somewhere.
