Yarrow
It was not a good day for landscape photography. Slightly drizzly, dull grey skies….most uninspiring. So once again I stuck with capturing images of wildflowers which are growing alongside the Taylor River tracks. My Wildflower series….
I spotted some early yarrow. The yarrow flowers are now flowering and their form and shapes contrast beautifully with the Californian Poppies and the tall spikes of the Viper’s Bugloss flowers. I processed an image in black and white but in the end changed my mind and stuck to the natural colours of the flower and its unusual buds.
