Spectacular Sunrise

Even though deep in the throes of the invariable rush and stress of getting up and out in the morning......two out of three children asked me had I seen the sunrise, and taken a photo? (The bird in flight was a bit of a bonus!)

Looking at the picture again now, it is hard to believe that it really was those vibrant colours and hasn't been "Photoshop enhanced", but it hasn't.......

Related or not, the day was filled with icy winds and stormy weather; I pity anyone who has spent any time before today raking up leaves....
