All bundled up
So after the therapeutic walk yesterday afternoon, I felt a bit more content about looking after baby S today. Luckily the weather was good so we got out for another walk although it seemed to take until lunchtime for the 2 of us to get up and washed and out the house. I have a bit more insight now into why it takes families ages to get organised, just when you think you are ready to go the wee one decides to either cry, fall asleep, vomit, fill their nappy or if your lucky you get all 4 in rapid succession!
Anyway, all ok and in the evening we got the wee man all bundled up and took him off to meet the ladies I did pregnancy yoga with. All a bit strange to be amongst the girls I was pregnant with only 2 weeks ago but they all seemed quite taken with Stuart, he behaved impeccably for 10 minutes and then wailed for half an hour. Ah well, don't want to lull them into a false sense of security that newborn babies are endlessly calm cute and sleepy! It did give us an exscuse to get out the house in the evening, as Stuart is conforming to type and gets himself in an overtired lather most evenings and cries a lot so a trip back and forth in the car helped to zonk him out a bit.
