Hill farm sunset

Normal life is returning - A whole Saturday unencumbered by kids. Bliss.

A whole day spent doing normal things and not chasing one or other of the boys. A walk around town this morning followed by a trip to pick up a few things at a local farm shop and garden centre.

A long walk this afternoon with Tilly across the fields resulted in many nothing shots. This however was a 5 shot tone-map into mono. I was quite taken aback when it appeared.

Yesterday I mentioned the big reveal on the use of Steve's photo a few weeks ago. Tonight is the 60th birthday party of Val, one of our other neighbours. To celebrate Gail asked one of her colleagues to make a cake. She makes very special cakes to order. This cake is the group of neighbours last year at the boy's BBQ birthday bash at Nik and Vals where we spent most of the evening until late sat in the Jacuzzi drinking wine and having a great laugh. This event is recreated here!

Off to the birthday party this evening - taxi ordered for 6 of us plus cake. No driving! Should be another great evening.
