Poorly broken ears for M

I knew something was up when she burst into tears about not being about to do her homework and being sure her teacher would think she was a baby. Then there was the clingy tears and the just general tears. It much be ear infection season again.

She's not allowed to swim for at least a week meaning she will miss badge week and her last session with her school. She's gutted.

I was up early doing a high intensity training session with some friends. Reluctant at first, it was nice to start the day with some high energy and come home to bathed cuddly kids, with the washing up done and homework well on the way to completion (this preceded the above melt down obviously).

We watched Home Alone and the Goonies. It was a Sunday Roast kinda day but without the roast. I slacked off. Next weekend perhaps!
