The babies

Kangaroos are social creatures. They live in family groups called mobs feeding together. If you watch them you can pick out individuals and behaviors. Not people watching, kangaroo watching. They have personalities and quirks just like us.

These three adorable youngsters are orphans we look after at the center. When they get big enough they will go out on their own and join the mob in the meadow. For now we are their surrogate moms. They bound over on two legs eager to nuzzle, hungry for a loving caress and a warm bottle of milk.
