Hungry downy
Two goldfinches, a male and female, were at the feeder today. Unfortunately, when I cracked open the window to take their picture, they flew away. The next bird to appear was this little downy, so she gets to be the blip for today because I don't want to go for a walk in the park. The weather is cold and breezy, and I had to visit the retinal specialist for an injection in my eye this morning. Having frittered away that much time, I'm going to stay close to home and hearth for the rest of the day. When the eye drops wear off, I plan to post the rest of my pictures from Arizona and maybe even get out some Christmas decorations, the indoor kind that is.
PS I have decided to start tagging my kitchen window blips. It's a little late to start, but better late than never (or so they say).
