First hawk in eons!

I met up with a bird watching friend in the park today who told me he had spotted a red-shouldered hawk. It was high up in a tall tree and some distance from the trail, but I just had to post this picture for today's blip because it's the first hawk I've captured in a long, long time. The light was very dull today, and I was using my back up camera, so I was lucky to get a decent shot. Thanks to Tom for pointing it out to me.
