Skating in the square

We walked so much when we were in London that K wore out his shoes. He had tried some on in the Covent Garden shopping area, but they did not have his size in the style that he liked. It was a lovely warm day - about 10C - so I walked to the City Centre to see if I could find them here in Amsterdam. Success!

On the way, I stopped to watch the skating in Leidseplein. The rink is so pretty with it's Christmas tree, lights and benches.
