Frost!

A very rate occurrence around these parts. Down in the 30's overnight and boy did it feel like it. It hasn't been this cold for such an extended period if time since I moved from the UK 2 years ago. It doesn't help that we have a vaulted ceiling downstairs and gaps in the front door with the heating outlets on the ceiling. It gets like a sauna upstairs but a freezer downstairs.

Finally arranged my ride along after the interview tomorrow so bunking off in the afternoon. Also arranged an interview for R&D company on Friday just to keep my options open.

Footy tonight. The late kickoff so won't be back until 11:30. Means another late and sleepless night with busy day ahead. I fear I may have to play a half in goal as we have lost our regular keeper who has moved away. Little hope of winning or even staying up this season. Though I got some new "cleats" on cyber Monday so will be interesting to see if they are any better than the Astros I have always worn for artificial surfaces.
