Dinner with a View

After a summer of fun and a schedule that lacked routine, we re-started the Thursday Date Night here at "Fun-ville" by taking a quick drive to the coast (okay, it was a 40 minute journey).

Once we arrived in Newport Beach, we stopped at "Baja Fresh" to order dinner to go -- 2 chicken tostado salads with a side of grilled veggies for Mr. Fun.

We grabbed our bag of "to go" and went to the overlook in Corona del Mar to watch as the sun slipped below the horizon while the yachts, sailboats, and various water craft glided by.

After a day of blazing heat in the triple digits, it was simply a breath-taking, spine-tingling finish to this final Thursday in September.
