Friday Traffic in Southern California

Grand Blvd in our town is a circular street. One with quite a bit of history, but that'll be told another day.

We were at the red light at Grand and Third Street on the northwest section of the circle. Third Steet, Second Street, and then the overpass of the 91 Freeway.

The freeway off-ramp traffic seemed to all be turning left and heading to who knows where. They were just glad to be off the freeway and done with the stop-n-go-slow of Friday afternoon with people getting off work and others heading away for the weekend.

We were headed to Main Street and then north for a mile or so, then west to home.

Southern California freeways make some people want to move away, make some crazy, and make others of us just so glad we have no place we have to be.

It's been a fabulous final Friday in this September to Remember, even though the temps reached 100+ degrees today.
