...money,money, money.....

Well as good as....we haven't had one of these for a while....mind you we haven't been out on a Thursday much.....but we won the fun quiz tonight.

So next week we are out with D & V and B & S...for our Christmas meal......we have £40 between us and D & V for the Bull where we are eating.....so that knocks a chunk off the meal...and then we can cross the road to the Rose for £20 worth of drinks....should make it a cheap night!

See....there's a reason why we're into quizzes...when the prize used to be in cash we saved it up over the year and then blew it.....we had a mini cruise to Norway one year.....flights to Barcelona (twice)....flights to Basel...... a weekend in a hotel in the Cotswolds......tickets to Cartmel races...oh yes we did very well...it's a pity it's all vouchers now....still...... free booze...not to be sneezed at!
