Living the dream!

Beer, popcorn, football (American) and a man's best friend (albeit only because I have popcorn). Watched the chargers in the mile high match up against the broncos (AFC division champions elect) as we are still in the hunt for the playoffs. A great offensive and defensive games for us as Denver have been scoring freely all season. One of the best chargers performances I've seen.

Busy day at work, had to come home for lunch to walk babe as the wife was out at her Xmas do bowling. I had the postdoc Xmas do after work where I met up with my English and German chums for a beers and (lack of) pizza. It was in the on campus pizza restaurant and was free for postdocs. As such, the under paid and malnourished scientists devoured every pizza on site as soon as it was brought out and by the time I got there I a managed to snaffle a couple of slices and chicken wings!
