The Bride to Be -- Andrea

Today was Andrea's bridal shower. Andrea & Blake will be married on the first Saturday in November.

I was on my best behavior not to ask her if I could wear her veil. I thought it was so cool that today she wore her veil and a cute white summer dress.

The room was decorated with beautiful bouquets of many colors of flowers and big bright sunflowers, which is what will be used at her November ceremony. The table in the front room was overflowing with gifts and there was a small round table decorated with dishes filled with candy and everyone was supposed to take a bagful of candy home as a "Thank You" gift for attending. In this photo Andrea is standing right next to the candy table.

We've known Andrea's parents, Roger & Kathi, since before they were married -- so this is truly a fun season to watch their family's history expanding. We've also known Blake's family for many years. We love all of them. They are special people.
