Christmas tree

Today's the day ............................. to come of age

This is our Christmas tree which I decorated today - but it's not just any old Christmas tree.

I came upon it, back in maybe 2008, when I was weeding in the garden. At that point it was about six inches tall. I've no idea how it came to be growing there because I don't think there are any conifers like it nearby to have supplied the seed. Anyway, I put it in a pot. I felt it was destined for a greater purpose.

I actually blipped a bit of it in 2011 - and I said then that - 'one day when it grows up a bit more, it's going to be our Christmas tree'.

So here it is today fully come of age - all dressed up and an important job to do .......................
