Speeding through the night........

I know in more ways than one this is a terrible image, it was taken on Ford station at night, using my daughter's 1000d without the benefit of a tripod, it is wibbly wobbly and the colour is foul and yet..........I am drawn back to it time and again, because somehow despite it's faults it really seems to convey the speed at which these two black 5's rushed through the station cutting through the night on to their destination.......sooo romantic.
So, I have taken a huge risk and decided to use it as today's blip. The same two Stanier black 5's working double headed pulling another rail tour, this time at Ford station so Mr U&L can pop in the engine shed shop to get some new couplings.
I hope you can also feel the sense of speed! Back to normal tomorrow I hope!
