At Kilpeck: A real treasure....x

Kilpeck's annual Christmas pantomime played their 18th consecutive production. Its a remarkable and dedicated cast and production crew. The members that perform for charity date back, some to the first show 18 years ago. Gareth Thompson, pictured above, with his twin brother, Nic are part of the Kilpeck panto furniture. Their father, Richard, has been steering this boat for 16 of those years. I am puzzled as to why the local papers fail to pick up on the Kilpeck story.

To date the performances have raised over £15,000 to which the local village hall and other local charities are have benefitted. Tonight's show, however was in part, dedicated to St Michaels Hospice. A personal touch, a moving memory of a special lady, Sue Thomson. Her spirit was very much amongst the performance. The show must go on, and it has with strength and bravery, but above all love for the real 'treasure' of this years panto 'Treasure Island'.

Ooooooh Arrrrrrrh.......well done everyone....x
