When I picked up miles from school today, his teachers were raving about how well miles picked up after himself and the entire classroom throughout the day. They said he also eagerly shared toys and took turns with his friends. It's nice to hear the good stories like that because we often only hear about typical problem-toddler behavior. When we got home, Miles got to help me and my friends with some crafts. We are making ‘ugly sweaters’ out of tiny ribbons for a work event Friday and Miles even decorated an old t-shirt too. Daddy asked him if he wanted to go upstairs and watch football and Miles said no, “I want to stay with Lyndsey and Meghan and Mommy” Smart boy ;) Once Miles got to bed he decided to keep the party going. We watched on the monitor and he walked & paced back and forth on his bed and sat on the edge…clearly contemplating whether or not he should get down. Like a good boy, he choose to stay on the bed as he knows he’s supposed to. But it was so cute, as you could just see the internal conflict of the toddler happening.
