Not an everyday occurrence

That you see a man scooting (sp?) the wrong side of the street at lunchtime in his pajamas and cowboy hat with a shopping bag.

Neither is it an everyday occurrence to get offered a salary far higher than you expected, plus bonus potential ontop, plus car allowance, plus company matched pension, plus gym allowance, plus an actual career with "exciting" prospects. Quids in I'd say!

Now to just type a fitting resignation letter so as no to burn too much of what is a very fragile and old rope bridge with current boss. And to meet with said boss tomorrow. I think better after my lab meeting! I feel sorry for the grad student who is left running everything whilst in her 5th year of phd with pretty much no data.

Soccer tonight and although we have a bunch of misfits (myself included) - some may say (my dad) the twitchers and dribblers of the squad - perhaps we can actually string a few passes together unlike our normal ball hogging brethren.
