Best in the field

No really, this has been the best deer we've seen in our field all season... and now it's in our garage.

BJ headed out to hunt the field early this morning, just as he entered the field, this buck caught his eye walking along the wood line. He scooted around the barn, used the spreader as his rest, took aim and fired.

Coming into the house to give us the news, Colby was dressed in record time to go out and help with the "processing". Kaylee and I joined them soon after to take pictures before school.

Congratulations BJ, this buck will be good eating through the winter ;)
