Blackness Castle
The less you do....the less you do.
Yesterday was the shortest day - and it certainly felt it! By 2.30 pm today it was getting dark. Although mild by normal standards (2 degrees) it seemed very damp and cold.
Later this afternoon, when all the young ladies of the house were otherwise occupied, I sneaked out to blip Blackness Castle. We came here a lot when the big girls were little. There was a fabulous tea room here, but it looked very bereft of life today.
Shortly after this I found a great layby with panaramic views of the bridges - but the rain and sleet kept my in the car. I'll pop back another time.
Just an enormous pile of ironing to look forward to tonight and then work tomorrow.
