Homeward bound

Today started just like any Saturday, a bit of pottering tidying the house then out to the Farmers' Market. It was damp, very damp. The rain held off briefly as we wandered up from The 'Bat to Morningside to meet my parents.

A quick detour past my work to drop off some books for the hospital library. Also a chance for them to see the "conservatory office" I've told them so much about. Once back home we loaded up the car and started a very wet journey down to Cumbria. The amount of water on the roads as we neared home made us wonder if we'd be needing our wellies to get into the house.

It was a long day and by the time we'd eaten and got Grannie back home it was time for bed with a quick, poor quality blip of something that will never be seen in our house, satsumas with their leaves on.
