Christmas Eve 2013

Happy Chritmas Eve!

How did the year go so quickly? Today has been a crazy day getting ready for tomorrow. It was good to have Nanny and Pop here, as they took the twins to the beach when Maple slept and I could crack on with the cooking!

I made Cranberry and Port Relish, Yule Log and Christmas Sago Plum Pudding. They are all looking good. We also have a Black Forrest Trifle and Pancakes ready for tomorrow. Oscar and Bailee are very excited about Santa coming to visit and going to Ruth and Simon's for a Christmas Meal tomorrow. I just cannot wait to hear the rustle of wrapping paper when they wake up and discover their stockings!

I am missing my NZ family and friends a lot. At least we are lucky to have Stu's parents here to spend Christmas with.

So merry Christmas eve to everyone. In fact, it is already Christmas in New Zealand! We have just finished wrapping the presents and filling the stockings. Sweet dreams.
