Christmas Morning

We were late down to open presents this morning, 9am! That's because Conor has a bad cold, so he was up a lot during the night. And Orla woke up crying and complaining of earache. So none of us got much sleep. We were very concerned about Orla as she's had a few ear infections and they have come along with fevers. If it had gone down that road I don't think we'd have had much choice but to take her to A&E to get an antibiotic. Luckily, she said her ear "popped" then after that she was okay.

Orla's main present was a bike with stabilisers and a Hello Kitty helmet. Other presents included a Jake & the Neverland Pirates art case, back pack and ball, a Mr Potatohead, loads of Play-doh, games, dinosaurs, new games for the Wii and books. Conor got this Little Tikes rocking horse, which is very popular with both Orla and Ryan. He also got some wooden blocks, books, a teddy and a soft Jake (Ryan has also taken a shine to that). We've had Gran, Papa, Auntie Katie, Uncle Scott, Ryan and Uncle Patrick for dinner. After dinner, Orla stood on her chair and sang Away In A Manger for everyone (here's a video).

We're now watching the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special while we wait for Uncle Andrew and Auntie Linda to come round with the boys and for the Christmas pudding to steam. Here are some more photos from today and yesterday.
