Just the three of us!

Well today has been a first. Just the three of us on Christmas Day. I suppose it might be the novelty of it (and perhaps we wouldn't want to do it every year) but it has been wonderful.

Just a really happy, fun filled and relaxed day at home. We had a bad night with Audrey waking up coughing a lot so we were grateful when she gave us an 8am lie-in.

It was a lazy morning (for me, Angus prepared the dinner) and although Audrey still isn't really eating much and is easily upset because of teething; we managed to have a good day with her. She loved the presents we had bought her and they kept her entertained most of the morning.

We timed Christmas dinner for her lunchtime nap and had a lovely meal and quite a few glasses of wine with my specially prepared iPod playlist on in the background!

Popped out for a pram walk this afternoon and really felt part of Chorlton as everyone out walking wished us Merry Christmas.

Home for more drinks (hiccup) and a flop in front of the telly. A triumph of a day!
