Cheese Potatoes

After yesterday's teething cabin fever, I wasn't prepared to let today go the same way.

Audrey was still out of sorts but I decided to distract her so we tagged along with Angus to town as he was working. It was pretty fresh weather wise but we holed up in a Starbucks with a gingerbread latte and a croissant.

Had a potter round the very quiet shops (must buy presents on Christmas eve next year - men have the right idea) then got home in time for Audrey's nap.

Had Laura, Nathan and Sam over this afternoon for playtime, drinks and the family tradition - cheese potatoes (their first time!) Despite Audrey's whining, we had a lovely time. Having those guys here is like being with family. We don't stand on ceremony and its just so relaxed.

Now installed in front of the telly with our new Christmas PJs on. Tomorrow will be our first family Christmas at home. No motorways, no spare rooms. Just the three of us.
