A Wonderful, Wandering Boxing Day to Whitstable

A brisk afternoon stroll along the coast to Whitstable harbour.

A bright, clear day heralded Boxing day & we had our annual second Christmas at Dad & Jenny's on the Kent coast today. Ria & I had a lovely, chilled day, being pampered & prezzied at their new home in Tankerton. They've got a a lovely new house & although they've got fantastic visions of grand designs for the house, it's already got their sylish touch on it, & we were immediately felt welcomed & comfy.

We had a delicious & overflowing fish pie, with the obligatory cracker frenzy, followed by bucket loads of ice cream & sorbet. In order to fight off the afternoon slump, we ventured out for a wander. It seemed as though everyman & their dog were out, strolling the Kent coast.

The evening we spent watching a film, The Impossible, very good but very sad, & some surprisingly good Christmas TV.
