Gamekeepers Day

There are only two days during the season that aren't shot over by either syndicate members or the Duke and his family. One is beaters day, which is normally late in January, for all those that have been involved during the season. The other is the the gamekeepers day when all his friends and family are invited. These are my days to shoot, but I don't hold a gun. I hold my camera. I can go where I like to get the shots I want without the constraints of staying in line.

The sun came out and stayed with us all day. A bit much for the camera and those shooting with guns also struggled in the bright light. It was a fantastic day and there is no way I will complain about good weather. I took enough photos and if many are overblown, there will be plenty of good ones to fill an album.

W. isn't well so my Christmas break has been cut short. Nothing I wasn't expecting. For me, my blips in the bag so, time to load it, have a soak in the bath and I'll be heading into work.
