Mini Munchies

Continuing our bout of entertaining during this festive season, we invited the Biggs family (Pete, May and Pippa) to join us today for lunch. Pete is a long-standing pupil and collaborator of mine, and we enjoy the family's company in what has become an annual tradition.

"Mini Munchies" is the name of this series of rather diffiult jigsaw pauzzles. This specific one is called "Bubblegum Balls", and has 374 rather similar looking pieces in it. My wife gave it to Andrew and Beth for Christmas, and they were delighted by it. Beth started it during the evening on Christmas Day, and Andrew finished it late that night!

This afternoon, May and her daughter Pippa decided to restart it from scratch, and this is where they had got to when they had to leave (May was driving, for obvious reasons). Pete and I continued the tasting of single malts.
