A day of two halves ...

I made mum a card making kit for Christmas - she enjoys her fortnightly art group, so I thought she might like to make things at home as well. To be honest she doesn't get too involved, she can't cope with the simplest choice - but between us (!) we made two thank you cards and she wrote a couple of brief thank you notes.

Quite a productive morning.

I spent part of the afternoon sitting in a ditch, waiting for an owl, but none was to be seen!
