Sunday: Suburbia

We left Liverpool at 0300 in the morning to drive down to Heathrow for our flight back to Zagreb.  It has been really nice being back in the UK but we are also glad to be back home in our own space and with the cats (who have told us that they missed us terribly).  We are a tad sleepy as a result of our early start so it won't be long before bedtime, methinks.

The nice thing is that I am still on leave until Thursday - well, that's if the text from my boss just now asking if I was back in the office tomorrow turns out to be nothing more than a polite enquiry!

I was hoping for some nice shots of London as we flew over  but, unfortunately, the pilot took the suburban route!

And I can now get back to real-time blipping!  This backblipping has been most frustrating!

While I was away, I finished 'The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry' by Rachel Joyce.  It's not the type of book I would normally have picked up but I read it on my Mum's recommendation and actually quite enjoyed it.  I particularly liked the ending (I mean that genuinely - not in a 'I was glad that it ended' sort of way!).
