Go Rampage!

Off out for a bite to eat at a dive bar near downtown. They had at least 40 beers on tap! I was particularly fond of the Triple (pronounced Trip Ell) and the veggie burger wasn't too shabby either!

Then it was off to see the Rampage (our local ice hockey team). Who'd have known we would have a hockey team in San An! They are AHL not NHL but the quality of hockey is still much better than back home. Most of the teams are feeder clubs for the NHL.

It was also dollar beer night so Calum and I made the most of that ( although we were slightly disappointed to find out it wasn't for pints).

The game went into OT as the result was 2-2. I was expecting the game just to end after OT as it does in the U.K, but we were treated to a shootout instead : ) Which the rampage won!

We then decided to head back to the dive bar to sample some more drinks and chat with the locals. Everybody was really cool apart from the dudes who claimed to have worked in Austria, Germany.

The conversation kind of went like....
