Wishful Thinking

Well for starters I wish this picture had been in focus, but in keeping with my determination yesterday that one shouldn’t be too picky about the quality of a blip when blips are scarce, I decided to go ahead with it. I can pretend it’s in sharp focus and what a neat picture it would have been, but sometimes a compromise is called for. Since it’s still dark when I go to work and dark when I get home, my options are limited. I tried valiantly for a sunset picture but as happens so often, by the time I get to a vantage point to shoot the sunset, it has faded dramatically.

Snuffy was actually up and about and being cute, but I still haven’t quite figured out how to manage my camera in low light, so here we are. I’m now inspired to study the book I bought and learn about lighting and the camera so some good will come of a bad blip. There’s always hope.
