Florence Nightingale

My girl participated in her school's "Historical Halloween" by acting as Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. She gave a speech in front of all the school parents who were there to watch their own children. It is a nice tradition. She gave her first speech in first grade (Beatrix Potter) and I felt that if children could get up and give a speech in first grade to all of those parents, they can do anything!

BTW, this costume is more like Clara Barton...Florence would not have worn the red cross!
