Pitter Patter Raindrops

An early start today putting the last of Christmas into the loft and finding homes for the kids' new toys.

Planned trip to Twinlakes has been postponed owing to the continued poor weather, instead a day of chores which I'm embracing in order to reclaim parts of the house for myself ... the window-sill above the sink in the kitchen will house my blessings jar, flower pitcher, Roberts radio and nothing else.

Whilst sorting another wash this image was framed in the window and made me realise there is beauty in foul weather right on my doorstep (back doorstep in this case).

It also gave me a chance to practice close-up detail with the camera.
